## Malvani Mutton Curry Recipe – Easy & Delicious Recipe

Discover how to make a delicious and authentic **Malvani Mutton Curry Recipe** with this easy-to-follow recipe. A traditional **Malvani Main Course**, this dish is **Non Vegeterian** and perfect for any occasion.

### Ingredients for Malvani Mutton Curry Recipe:

* 300 grams Mutton – on the bone
* Salt – to taste
* 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
* 1/3 cup Water
* 4 tablespoons Malwani masala
* 2 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
* 2 Onions – finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon Ginger – finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon Garlic – finely chopped
* 1 Tomato – finely chopped

### Step-by-Step Instructions to Make Malvani Mutton Curry Recipe:

1. either use store bought Malvani Masala or make the fresh Malvani masala by following this recipe – Malvani Masala Powder Recipe.
2. In a pressure cooker, combine the mutton along with water, salt and turmeric powder.
3. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
4. Turn off the flame, and allow the pressure to release naturally.
5. In a kadai, heat oil on medium flame, add in the ginger, garlic and saute for about a minute.
6. Next add the onions and fry till it turns into a deep brown colour.
7. Add the malvani masala, chopped tomatoes and give it a good mix.
8. Cook until the tomatoes are mushy.
9. Turn off the flame and allow them to cool.
10. Transfer into a mixed grind into a coarse paste adding very little water.
11. Transfer this coarsely ground onion-tomato base into the pressure cooker along with the pre-cooked mutton.
12. Mix the Malvani Mutton Curry well and pressure cook for another 2 whistles.
13. Turn off the flame, and allow the pressure to release naturally.
14. Once released, open the cooker and give the Malvani Mutton Curry a stir.
15. Adjust the salt and spices according to taste.
16. Transfer the Malvani Mutton Curry to a serving bowl and serve hot.
17. Serve Malvani Mutton Curry piping hot along with some Steamed Rice, Seer Fish Fry Recipe, Pickled Onions for a complete Sunday afternoon lunch.
