### Ingredients for Homemade Coconut Milk Recipe:

* 2 cups Fresh coconut – cut into pieces or grated

### Step-by-Step Instructions to Make Homemade Coconut Milk Recipe:

1. first grate the coconut using a shredder and keep aside.
2. If you have a juicer attachment in your mixer grinder, then it is really convenient to extract the coconut milk.
3. Fix the extraction blade and the juice attachment.
4. Add the grated coconut and 1 cup of warm water and blend to extract the coconut milk.
5. This will be the first extraction.
6. You can add more water and then extract more coconut milk after the first extraction.
7. If you don’t have the extraction blade, then place the grated coconut in a blender jar and add 1 cup warm water and blend till the coconut is ground well.
8. Once the coconut is ground well, place the coconut in a muslin cloth sieve and then press to extract the coconut milk.
9. If you don’t have muslin cloth sieve, then you will have to extract the coconut milk by pressing it between your fingers, until the coconut becomes dry.
10. Add water and get two and maximum three extractions of coconut milk.
11. Use the homemade coconut milk as required in curries and stews.
