* 2 onions – cut into thin and straight
* 2 tomatoes – finely chopped
* 3 green chillies – finely chopped

* 1/2 cup coriander leaves Finely chopped salt – 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
* 1/2 tsp coriander powder
* 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
* 1 tbsp oil
* 1/2 tsp celery
* 1/2 Teaspoon cumin
* asafetida – a pinch
* 1/4 cup coriander – finely chopped

1. To make Amritsari dry dal recipe, first wash the urad dal 3 to 4 times and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
