* 12 arbi – finely chopped
* 1 onion – chopped
* 2 tomatoes – chopped
* 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
* asafetida – a pinch
* 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
* salt – as per taste
* 3/4 teaspoon Red chili powder
* 3/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
* 2 green chillies – finely chopped
* 3/4 teaspoon coriander powder
* 2 dry red chillies
* oil – as per use

1. To make tomato onion curry arabi vegetable, first wash and soak the arbi in salted water for 10 to 15 minutes.
2. Drain and wash again.
3. Dry it Now heat oil in a pan.
4. Add arbi to it and cook till it becomes golden.
5. Remove it on a paper towel and keep it aside.
6. Heat a little more oil in the same pan.
7. Add dry red chillies, asafetida, ginger, garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
8. Now add onion and cook till the onion becomes soft.
9. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, coriander powder and garam masala powder.
10. After 1 minute add tomatoes and green chilies and cook it for 3 minutes.
11. Now add arbi to it and mix well.
12. Cover the pan and cook it for 6 to 8 minutes.
13. Serve hot.
