## Tawa Crispy Pomfret Fry Recipe (Indian Style) – Easy & Delicious Recipe

Discover how to make a delicious and authentic **Tawa Crispy Pomfret Fry Recipe** with this easy-to-follow recipe. A traditional **Indian Side Dish**, this dish is **High Protein Non Vegetarian** and perfect for any occasion.

### Ingredients for Tawa Crispy Pomfret Fry Recipe:

* 3 Pomfret fish – medium sized
* 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
* 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
* 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
* 2 tablespoons Hung Curd (Greek Yogurt)
* 8 Curry leaves – finely chopped
* 2 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Leaves – finely chopped
* 2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
* 1/2 teaspoon Fennel Powder
* 2 tablespoon Butter – melted
* Salt – as per your taste

### Step-by-Step Instructions to Make Tawa Crispy Pomfret Fry Recipe:

1. wash and clean the pomfret fish properly and make gashes on both sides using a knife.
2. Now, we need to marinate fish so add turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice and crushed peppers and rub it properly on the fish.
3. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
4. Next step includes making a smooth paste by mixing curd, red chilli powder, fennel powder, finely chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.
5. Now rub this masala paste on the fish making sure to push the masala inside the gashes.
6. Marinate the fish for 1 hour in refrigerator.
7. Heat a non stick pan and add melted butter into it.
8. Put the pomfret on the pan and fry for 8 to 10 minutes on one side in medium flame.
9. Carefully flip the fish and cook on the other side too for 8 to 10 minutes.
10. Make sure to not overcook the fish otherwise it may become dry.
11. Drain the excess butter using a paper towel.
12. Serve it hot.
13. Serve Tawa Fry Crispy Pomfret along with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney or any other chutney of your choice for your house parties or a weekend dinner.
14. You can also serve it as a side dish with your meal.
